Stacee and Jordan, 12th August 2023
Stacee and Jordan said their "I Do's" on the 12th August 2023 at St Mary's Cathedral followed by a very swanky, elegant and stunning reception at the iconic COMO The Treasury located at the State Buildings in Perth CBD. This wedding oozes sophistication, elegance and pure magic all created by the beautiful couple and their amazing vendors.
When I first saw the photos of Stacee and Jordan's wedding day I almost passed out! The venue, the styling, the photos but most importantly...THAT DRESS. The dress in question was a beautiful custom made piece created by Faith Anderson Bridal - with a 3 meter train might I add!

For years and years, Stacee had always envisioned herself in a formfitting, lacy mermaid wedding gown. As she grew and her tastes changed, she leaned more towards that classic and clean style but really didn't have a clear idea on what exactly she wanted for her big day. All that Stacee knew was that she wanted a gown to reflect her personality, something timeless that won't age as the years pass - and of course (being a Winter wedding) sleeves were a non-negotiable!
The Process
From the very start, Stacee knew that the custom route was something that she would lean towards. Visits to Dion for Brides and NOA Bridal confirmed this feeling. Both boutiques had beautiful gowns but she felt that there were too many things she wanted to change and modify to make her dream dress a reality. These visits however, did allow Stacee to rule out other styles and fits that she normally would never have tried.

search on Instagram. She instantly loved her designs, the textures and materials and the overall vibe of the designer and about 14 months out from her wedding she enlisted Faith Anderson's help with creating her dream dress.
For anyone going down the custom route - it is so important that you meet with, click and connect with whoever is going to be making your dress. A relationship is so important so that everyone is on the same page! Luckily this was exactly the case with Stacee and Faith Anderson.
About 6 months out from the wedding they really knuckled down and finalised the exact design for Stacee's dress and 4 months out they started creating it. Between the 6 and 4 months Stacee changed up the style and design of the dress which Faith Anderson was more than capable to adjust the design to.
Although this is the route that Stacee chose to go down, it did not come without those same bridal doubts and stress that comes with a boutique experience. However, as soon as Stacee tried on her gown with the completed bodice a couple months out - she felt as if it was better than she could have ever imagined!

Stacee got ready to get married at the beautiful COMO The Treasury and as she had her makeup done, hair in place and her stunning custom dress on - she felt better and more beautiful than she could ever have thought was possible. She felt like a true princess and was so proud for her family, bridesmaids and future husband to see her!
Stacee actually had a second look for the reception planned - swapping the sleeves out for a tulle version and removing the scarf (in place of the veil). She didn't love the second sleeves as much as the first and would have had to unbutton the dress to switch them out - and let's face it..we want to have fun on the day and not have to worry about that! She also made the decision to leave the scarf on - which I am so glad she did because the photos were just UNREAL!
The wedding went perfectly and Stacee would not change a single thing - apart from having it stretch over more days to celebrate longer! (YESS!!)
Some advice from Stacee: "If budget allows, hire a wedding planner or at minimum an on the day coordinator. It allows you to enjoy the process knowing that someone is there to have your back and ensure your day runs smoothly. Most brides get less than 12 hours to celebrate their day with their husbands and family, so it just lets you really soak it in and be as present as you can be, and to enjoy the planning process."
