From living in Perth my whole life, it feels like it's the smallest place on Earth - I'm sure many people can relate no matter where you're from. Considering how small it feels Perth has a HUGE amount of wedding boutiques and custom designers! From my calculations there are well over 50 - we are truly spoilt for choice. But where do we begin? Shopping local always has a special place in my heart so I have curated a list of Perth Wedding Dress Designers for you who specialise in made to order and custom dresses.

Sally Victoria Couture

Sally specialises in bridal, couture and ready to wear gowns. Based in her studio in Applecross, her beautiful designs come to life and are truly something special. Her collection is filled with bows, exquisite laces and flirty silhouettes. As of May you can find some of her ready to wear collection in Bridal by Aubrey Rose or you can shop the designs online. Sally Victoria - Cece Mini

Blanc Bridal

Brittany is the founder and owner behind Blanc Bridal. She has been surrounded with the Perth Bridal Industry for years and has a special love for all things extravagant. Her range of ready to wear gowns give off the "cool bride" vibe that can be super flexible (split sizing YAY). If you are looking for something unique, different and edgy then Blanc Bridal have you covered. Dvout Bridal - Ava

D'Vout Bridal

We love a self taught Queen! Ursula from D'Vout Bridal is just that and does it well. She struggled to find dresses that fit her body so decided to make them herself and help other brides who also struggle with this. From understated, to glamorous - her designs cover it all or you can opt for a completely custom gown. She also has an amazing range of
bridesmaids, robes and veils (please do yourself a favour and look at the ROBES!!).

Maevana Bridal

Maevana Bridal specialise in wedding gowns and event wear that exudes femininity. Maevana and her team hand make all of their pieces in their studio in North Freo. Maevana has a background in corsetry, tailoring and studied lingerie designing which is reflected in all of her designs. Both custom and ready to wear are available with some of the collection available to try on at NOA Bridal.

JRW Bridal & Couture

JRW - Holly

Joanne, the creative director of JRW Bridal & Couture creates a bespoke, unique and completely custom look for all of her brides. Having previously developed her own luxury lingerie and swimwear line, Joanne can really find the best fit for you. As well as her home studio in Alkimos she is also an in-house designer at Bridal by Aubrey Rose (BBAR). Not sure where to start with a custom? She also has a range of ready-to-wear pieces on her website and in store at BBAR.

Loui Col Designs

Starting her designing career at the age of 15, Katie Colgan the Head Designer of Loui Col is more than qualified to make your dream wedding dress. Exclusive to Perth, she specialises in not just wedding gowns but evening wear as well. Her designs ooze effortlessness and chicness and are completely unique. With their intimate design process, Loui Col will form everything you could dream your wedding dress could be and more. 

Nuku

Nuku has been around since 1987 and have really made a solid impact on bespoke couture in Perth and in Australia. The creative designer and director Louise Nuku makes sure that you not only have an exquisitely made wedding gown, but she has your whole wedding wardrobe sorted as they also specialise in Resort Wear. Nuku's collections feature some beautiful simple dresses along with designs for the more daring and glamorous brides.

Rachel Rose - Sweetheart Goddess

Rachel Rose Bridal

Rachel Rose Bridal is probably one of Perth's most prominent wedding dress designers - so much so, that you can find her designs worldwide. Having previously managed her own Mums store Bridal by Aubrey Rose, Rachel created her own brand of wedding dress designs. The collections are filled with sexy and sassy silhouettes, fun colours and textures and beautiful beading and lace. You can view these gorgeous designs in BBAR and numerous other bridal stores around the country and the world.

Donna Tobin Couture

By using amazing quality fabrics and techniques, Donna Tobin creates gowns that encompass individuality, romance and style. Since 1997, Donna has created a brand that has even been acknowledged as a game changer in bridal couture. All of her gowns are made to measure and hand sewn in WA. Even if you are not looking for a wedding gown, Donna Tobin Couture also makes some pretty incredible evening/ball
gowns as well.

Blanc Bridal - Zinnia

Zanzis Bridal Couture

Another one of the most iconic Perth bridal designers! Zanzis has been around for more than 20 years and continues to produce beautiful and timeless bridal gowns. Zanzis pride themselves on the use of luxurious fabrics, unique embellishments and modern, clean designs. As well as offering a completely couture experience, Zanzis have also released a range of ready to wear gowns that are just STUNNING that are ready for your viewing in their Northbridge shops front.

This list is honestly just the tip of the iceburg so there will definitely be a part two some where in the near future. Not mentioned but some honourable mentions of Elope Bridal and Miss Scarlett - two amazing Perth designers that I have gushed about in pervious posts (check them out on the blog!). Having a custom dress made is such an intimate and challenging choice to make. Finding someone that you can trust to help bring your vision to life is so important. Make sure to take the time in getting to know your designer and making sure that they would be the right fit for you.
